“Going off to college is daunting for anyone, but doing so as a mature student has its own challenges.
I can honestly say that my experience was nothing but positive and rewarding. Not only has the College an on site creche facility, which is really good, students are very well looked after and the college will take all learning challenges into consideration and assist where necessary. The Library, where I hung out quite a bit, is not just a Library, it is a haven of information. A place to sit quietly and make full use of it’s computer systems. There were excellent well equipped facilities and also great opportunities to shine such as the inter-college Hairdressing competitions and even a chance to head off abroad to experience International competitions. I would highly recommend both my course and Douglas Street Campus to any budding Hair and Beauty enthusiast.”
