This course is a very relaxing course that introduces you to Art and brings out your creative side. There could be a budding Picasso within you yet to be discovered. Art Advanced:

Stained Glass (Beginners):

This is a beginner’s course. Participants will learn to make their own traditional leaded stained-glass panel. This will include learning how to design the panel and the techniques of cutting glass, leading and soldering. The costs of materials are included, and each participant will create their own original piece of work as well as learning more about the history and diversity of stained glass in Ireland.

This is a proper introduction to the jewellery trade where all the basic skills are taught. These include:

Fashion Upcycling (Beginners):

During the course I will show you how to breathe new life into old garments. Learn how to turn thrifted finds into one-of-a-kind fashion statements using sustainable techniques.

In this course you will learn upcycling techniques that enable your old clothes to take on a new life and style. Over the course of 8 weeks, we are going to learn and share ideas to repurpose an old item of clothing into something new and wonderful. Together we are going to learn how to sew, paint, distress and use our Creativity to make sustainable fashion item.

Mindfulness (Beginners):

This course will help participants understand what anxiety is and how it can manifest in their lives. You will learn mindfulness techniques that can help reduce the symptoms of anxiety through meditation, mindful movement, grounding exercises, and reflective practice. While this course can be therapeutic, it is not a substitute for therapy.

Participants will learn about mindfulness and also explore the obstacles that arise when practicing meditation. How to respond to difficulties instead of reacting with strong emotions. Increasing resilience and learning strategies for self-regulation. Each individual will find ways to make mindfulness practice their own.

The course is interactive, supportive, and structured. Guided meditations and a handbook will be provided for students to practice at home.
