INTRODUCTION:
This Introduction to Phlebotomy classroom course is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to become start a career as a phlebotomist.
COURSE CONTENT:
- Learn about blood test types, collection systems, consent, legal requirements, and blood composition.
- Understand how to prevent collection and analytical errors, ensuring safe and competent blood draws.
COURSE DELIVERY:
This course is delivered on site in Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants apply online on www.fetchcourses.ie
CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to courses for those whose first language is not English.
Those from outside the EEA or Common Travel Area must provide evidence ot Stamp Four status to undertake this course.
FUNDING:
This course is fully funded for those in employment, under Skills to Advance.
