INTRODUCTION:

This course will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the life sciences sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Regulatory Framework:
    Understand the regulatory framework applicable to the life sciences sector, including key legislative requirements and regulatory bodies.
  • Quality Principles:
    Learn the principles of quality and good manufacturing practice compliance systems specific to the life sciences sector.
  • Quality Management Systems:
    Explore key elements of a quality management system, including organizational structure, responsibilities, procedures, processes, and resources.
  • Documentation:
    Complete required documentation in accordance with quality practices and procedures.
  • GMP Implementation:
    Implement current good manufacturing practices, including appropriate dress codes and personal protective equipment.
  • Standard Operating Procedures:
    Apply standard operating procedures, understanding their significance and the processes required to follow them.
  • CAPA Implementation:
    Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) in line with standard operating procedures.

COURSE DELIVERY:

This course is delivered remotely using live online classes. The end of course examination takes place on site in Bishopstown Campus.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants apply online on www.fetchcourses.ie 

CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 5 courses for those whose first language is not English.

Those from outside the EEA or Common Travel Area must provide evidence ot Stamp Four status to undertake this course.

This course is fully funded for those in employment, under Skills to Advance.
