INTRODUCTION:

Resource Efficiency for a Sustainable Workplace will equip you, as an employee in the workplace, with the knowledge, skills and competence to identify, prioritise, and implement a series of resource efficiency actions. These actions are in the areas of water, energy, waste and materials and can be implemented by employees in the business/workplace.

COURSE CONTENT:

• Outline the process required to implement resource efficiency improvements in their workplace or business.
• Assess the performance of their workplace or business in terms of energy use, material use, water use and waste production through tracking use and costs, and benchmarking.
• Identify and prioritise resource efficiency improvement actions suitable for their workplace or business in the areas of energy, water, waste, and material use.

COURSE DELIVERY:

This course is offered in a blended format, the first night takes place on site in Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus, the rest of the classes are delivered remotely using live online classes.

Or fully online using live online classes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants apply online on www.fetchcourses.ie 

CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 5 courses for those whose first language is not English.

Those from outside the EEA or Common Travel Area must provide evidence ot Stamp Four status to undertake this course.

This course is fully funded for those in employment, under Skills to Advance.
