INTRODUCTION:

The circular economy aims to keep resources in use for as long as possible, and then recover or recycle the materials at end of life. While the concept of a circular economy is not new, it is gaining a lot of attention as a result of climate change and the increasing scarcity of resource. Developing a circular economy in your business involves cutting down on waste and managing resources consumption in order to save money while reducing the impact of your business’s activities on the environment.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Context and main concepts of the circular economy
  • Circular economy improvement actions in the workplace
  • Potential impacts of circular economy improvement actions within (a) business
  • Business case for circular economy improvement actions

COURSE DELIVERY:

This course is offered in a blended format, the first night takes place on site in Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus, the rest of the classes are delivered remotely using live online classes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants apply online on www.fetchcourses.ie 

CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 6 courses for those whose first language is not English.

Those from outside the EEA or Common Travel Area must provide evidence ot Stamp Four status to undertake this course.
