Advance your career with our QQI Level 6 Certificate in Training Needs Identification and Design. This course is will equip you with the expertise to identify and design effective training programs tailored to organizational and individual needs.

Complete this component and the QQI Level 6 in Training Delivery and Evaluation to achieve a QQI Level 6 Special Purpose Award in Training and Development.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Purpose of Training:
    Explore the purpose of training and development in both organizational and individual contexts.
  • Training Needs Analysis:
    Outline the stages involved in conducting a training needs analysis and conduct a Training Needs Analysis to identify gaps in knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
  • ISD Models:
    Evaluate various Instructional System Design (ISD) models.
  • Barriers and Attitudes:
    Identify barriers to training and attitudes towards training within an organization.
  • Training Intervention Design:
    Training interventions incorporating factors such as trainees, adult learning theories, motivation theories.
  • Training Content Development:
    Develop training content using various learning aids.
  • Performance Management:
    Evaluate performance management approaches to identify training and development needs.

COURSE DELIVERY:

This course is offered in a blended format, the first night takes place on site in Cork College of FET, Bishopstown Campus, the rest of the classes are delivered remotely using live online classes.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants apply online on www.fetchcourses.ie 

CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 6 courses for those whose first language is not English.

Those from outside the EEA or Common Travel Area must provide evidence ot Stamp Four status to undertake this course.

This course is fully funded for those in employment, under Skills to Advance.
